Stoneybrook 18 Hole Ladies

Approximately 20 ladies play 18 holes at Stoneybrook every Tuesday ay 8:30 am.  The play is highly social and players of all levels are welcome.  A block of tee times is reserved each week and play starts at number 1.

The foursomes are switched every week to ensure that everyone gets to know each other.

This league is an excellent chance for newcomers (both to golf and our community) to get involved with a group of ladies every week for a social game of golf.  I recently joined them for part of a round of golf.  I was impressed with their approach to the game.  They seemed genuinely fond of each other.  While addressing the ball they were serious and respectful.  At the end of each hole they wrote down their scores and moved on; and never once did anyone complain about a shot or score.  This to me represents golf as a game played by a group of people who are in the moment.
