Heritage Harbour Pin Heads

The Heritage Harbour Pin Heads are a group of residents that get together every other Thursday, at Bradenton Bowl on Cortez west of Rt. 41, to bowl and have a little fun.  It doesn’t matter how good or bad you are, but that you would like to have some fun with your fellow residents.

We have anywhere from eight to fifteen men when we bowl.  Mike Bellacosa is in charge of getting the information on when we bowl and the time.  Mike Listro is in charge of statistics (Bowling averages and handicaps).  If you would like to be included, get in touch with Mike Bellacosa at (mcbella1@verizon.net).

We bowl three games, alternating lanes.  Bradenton Bowling Lanes gives us a rate, so it is not expensive.  Many of the guys have a bite to eat and a couple of beers as we bowl.

April

The Heritage Harbour Pin Heads met twice in April, on the 8th and 22nd. We had 10 men on the 8th and 7 men on the 22nd. We will next meet on March 6 at 6:00 PM at Bradenton Lanes on Cortez & 43rd Street, and invite all that are interested get in touch with Mike Bellacosa at mcbella1@verizon.net. With the snow birds going back north for the summer we would like to see more residence come and enjoy as we do. It does not matter how good a bowler you are, as long as you like to have a good time and have a few laughs.

The high scores for April 8th were Mike Bellacosa with games of 193, 222 and 185 for a 600 series, Bill Carroll with games of 204, 222, and 181 for a 607 series, Mike Listro with a 217 game, Ken Wood with a 209 game, Jerry Pytlik with a 195 game and Gregg Molis with a 180 game.

The high scores for April 22nd were Mike Bellacosa with games of 197 and 204, Mike Listro with games of 194, 201, and 196 for the high series of the night of 591, Greg Molis with games of 202, 189, and I won’t tell you what his other game was. Bill Carroll had a 216 game and Bob Ott had a 180 game.

March

The Heritage Harbour Pin Heads meet twice in March, on the 11th, 25th. We had 7 men on the 11th and 9 men on the 25th. The high scores for March 11th were Mike Listro with games of 224 and 220, Mike Bellacosa with games of 222 and 193, and Bob Celio with a nice series with games of 132, 151, and 139. High series for the night were Mike Listro 625 and Mike Bellacosa with 590.

The high scores for March 25th were Ken Wood with games of 210 and 192, Mike Listro with games of 193, 204 and 205, Greg Molis with a 195, Jerry Pytlik with a 189, Bob Ott with a 184, and Bill Carroll with a consistent series of 176, 171, and 174.

Heritage Harbour Pin Heads February

The Heritage Harbour Pin Heads met three times in February, on the 4th, 18th, and 25th.  We had eleven men on the 4th, eight men on the 18th, and 10 men on the 25th.  We will next meet on March 11, and invite all that are interested get in touch with Mike Bellacosa at mcbella1@verizon.net.  The Pin Heads enjoy their Thursday get together and having a few beers and a bite to eat.

The high scores for Feb. 4th were Greg Molis with a 215 game, Jerry Pytlik 190, Tom Tullio 185, Bill Carroll 182, and Vic Mantler 183.

The high scores for Feb. 18th were Mike Listro 212, Greg Molis 182, Bill Carroll 183, and Ira Tropp with a solid three games of 162, 165, and 169.

The high scores for Feb. 25th were Mike Listro with games of 235, 201, and 219 for a 655 series.  Greg Molis with a 203, Mike Bellacosa 222 and 187, Bill Carroll 212 and 187, Ken Wood 200, and Jerry Pytlik with a 188 game.

January 2010

The Heritage Harbour Pin Heads met twice in January, with eleven men bowling on January 7 and seven men bowling on January 21.  The high games on January 7 were: Mike Listro 214 and Greg Molis 193. Greg also had a 555 series, which is a 185 average for the night.

The high series for the night was Mike Listro with a 584.  The high games for January 21st were: Jerry Pytlik 223, Bill Carroll 223 and Ira Tropp 198.  Bill Carroll had the high series for the night with a 543.

We will next bowl on February 4th at 6:00 PM.  We hope we can get some new bowlers to show up for some bowling fun.
