150 Helping Hands Are Here for YOU!
If you are new to Stoneybrook you may not have heard about our 150 Helping Hands. We are a group of 75 volunteers who provide services to our neighbors. There are four areas in which we try to be helpful.
Meals
MEALS are provided for shut-ins or people who have just had surgery. If you have this need, please contact Sigi Offermann sigiofferman@aol.com, Laura Belle Jackson lrblljcksn@yahoo.com or Maureen Barber maureenbarber@tampabay.rr.com
Lender's List
We manage a LENDER’S LIST from which items may be borrowed and then returned. It includes items for babies, elderly and the infirm. Find out about available items from Rosalie Celio RAC1RJC1@aol.com
Support
SUPPORT is offered to shut-ins. We can run errands, get groceries, pick up prescriptions and help with grooming, shampoos and nail care. Contact Rosalie Celio RAC1RJC1@aol.com
Sunshine
The SUNSHINE group will share care for those who are hospitalized by bringing a plant or visiting, we give a gift to new moms and their new baby and we offer comfort to those who suffer a death in the family. Contact Carol Eichert ceichert@gmail.com We can only be helpful to you when we know about your needs. Therefore if we can help you, please contact one of the individuals above.
Young moms please let us know when your new arrival comes! We want to celebrate your joy. When illness strikes please give us a call.
Joining
If you are interested in joining our service volunteers call Carol Eichert at 714-7863 or watch the newsletter for our next meeting. Funds to purchase gifts and flowers are raised through donations.
