Trash and Solid Waste Collections

Manatee County provides Heritage Harbour with collection services for:

Garbage and Trash Tuesday and Friday
Yard Waste Wednesday
Recycle Friday

Collections are between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. The hauler is Waste Pro.

County Ordinance 85-11 prohibits the placement of Solid Waste out for collection earlier than sunset the day prior to a scheduled collection. Heritage Harbour Master Association covenants also contain a similar prohibition. Containers must be brought back from the street by sunset on the day of collection.

Holiday Schedules

NOTE: THANKSGIVING DAY (NOV 25th) HOLIDAY WEEK COLLECTION SCHEDULE:

GARBAGE AND RECYCLE COLLECTION WILL BE ON SATURDAY, NOV 27th (INSTEAD OF FRIDAY, NOV 26th)

No collections are made on the following holidays:

New Years Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas

During a holiday week, collections are made ONE DAY LATER on the holiday and ALL days following the holiday that week.
