Photography
Everyone is encouraged to submit photographs for the website. A few simple rules would help in the administration of the photographs.

We need electronic images with each photograph ending in .jpg and beginning with a descriptive name with no blanks. An example might be dancing_children.jpg
If you have photo editing software we would ask that you crop the photo to 350 px by 250 px. This is the size of the opening on our main slide show on the center of our main page. You should also save the photograph as a web photo. (In Photoshop that would be a quality 4. This should reduce the image size to about 200k.
If you are submitting multiple photographs please put them in a folder and attach the folder to your e mail.
Slide shows
Slide shows need 5 to 10 photographs. More than that starts to slow down the web page. The slide show software has some “smarts” built into it so it can handle small sizing problems but its works best with consistent sized pictures. If you can’t do pixels (px) then use something like 4 inch by 3 inch pictures.
Content
These will be fairly small pictures as they appear on the web page so we would encourage you to crop the photographs tightly. For example at a dinner event don’t shoot the entire room but take pictures of 2-4 people smiling.
